Big HaulProblem: Big Haul is paying out too high a percentage of tickets. Please be Aware: When the machine leaves the factory, unless ordered differently, it is set to give out 10 tickets for each coin/token in the truck and 5 tickets for each coin/token in the truck bed when it is dumped. Any coin/token missing the truck but not going down the coin return ramp (staying on the playfield) counts as if it went into the truck. This gives the machine a 34% payout without turning on the "mercy" ticket feature. With the "mercy" ticket feature on, add 4%. The idea of all the coins/tokens on the playfield is to give the game the feel of a pusher, whereby you see excess coins which creates excitement. If a token falls into a truck (10) and dumps (5) = (15) per coin x 4 coins per dollar, the machine theoretically can't pay out more than 60%. Solution: If the game is giving out a much higher percentage, check the following:
Preventative Maintenance: Please apply a small amount of white lithium type grease to the cam on the coin ramp motor assembly. This is the motor that causes the ramp to go from left to right. The micro switch that rides on the cam should have a "roller" on the end of the switch. If your machine does not have a roller cam on the micro switch, call Benchmark Games, Inc. and they will supply you with one. Very Important: It is also necessary to put some of the same grease on the bushing of the coin ramp swing arm one time a month. Failure to do so will result in the arm moving slower and thereby increasing the payout percentage.
